Lysandre was born in Montreal, Quebec (Canada) in 1984.
She started traveling far and wide at a very early age. First to the moon, several times a day, then into books.
She naturally chose to study Arts and Literature before being suddenly swept away by a passion for pastries, biscuits, and confections.
So, she became a pastry chef.
Her profession and curiosity have allowed her, among other things, to travel across Europe, live and work in France, wake up early, feel pain everywhere, cry, laugh, meet people, take trains, planes, and buses, miss trains, encounters, recipes, discover the unknown, and embrace life.
The pen never left her hand, though. She spent ten years writing her novel. She wanted it to be somewhat meaningful. And it became her companion, her friend. She thinks that might be why she wrote it.
She sometimes feels that stories already exist in the absolute, and that they seek human heads and hands to tell them.
Lysandre now lives at the end of the world, in Gaspé, with her four beloved daughters, a little human, a canine, and two felines. She is amazed every day to wake up on this Earth with so much joy in her heart.
Her first novel, Je est un œuf, will be published by Eukalypto in 2025.
